This project integrates experimental practices, musical composition, and audiovisual performance through the use of biofeedback technology. By capturing and processing biological inputs such as body movement, brainwaves, heart rate, and breathing, it creates music and visuals that respond to the participant's physiological data.
The system combines software with biofeedback sensors to make the human body an interactive tool. Participants can engage as composers and creators, facilitating experiences in sound therapy, mindfulness, and psychomotor exploration. MDAP explores the connections between technology, art, and self-awareness, offering a space for creative and personal exploration.
MDAP has toured Mexico, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, the United States, one of its most recent presentations has been at the LA Design Festival, the Mutek Mexico festival and in Italy, Venice at the inauguration of Pavilion 0/4 "Beyond Code and Time" organized by Mediations Biennale and World Design Capital.
